About the Role
Firmwerx is hiring a Client Product Manager, the person who owns the relationship between our clients and the product we build for them. You are comfortable with systems and software, highly analytical, and the kind of communicator people genuinely enjoy being on a call with.
You are the steady presence on client calls. You run the WebEx, Zoom, and Teams sessions, translate between what the client says and what the product actually needs to do, and make sure the application is truly working for them. You watch how it performs in the real world, catch issues before the client does, and keep every engagement moving.
The best product people here do not just take orders. You build to the client's stated objectives and then go beyond them. You think for the client, anticipate where they are headed, and surface the things they didn't know to ask for. Often a client cannot articulate exactly what they want, and your job is to figure it out with them and shape the product around it.
You work across several clients at once, helping each develop and evolve their product over time. The critical competency is the rare blend of systems fluency, sharp analytical judgment, and warm, clear communication that makes clients trust you and want to keep working with you.
Responsibilities
- Own the client relationship for the products we build, from kickoff calls through ongoing development
- Run client calls and video sessions (WebEx, Zoom, Teams) as the clear, confident point of contact
- Make sure the product actually works for the client: monitor how it performs, catch issues early, and drive them to resolution
- Translate between client needs and the build, turning conversations into clear direction for the technical team
- Think ahead of the client: anticipate needs, surface opportunities, and propose what they didn't know to ask for
- Work across several clients at once, helping each develop and evolve their product over time
- Reason about the systems and software deeply enough to keep the work honest, even without writing code daily
- Partner closely with the AI Solutions Lead on scope, priorities, and delivery quality
Requirements
- Product management, client delivery, or technical account management experience with a track record of owning client relationships
- Comfortable with systems and software. You reason about how applications work and stay credible with a technical team without needing to write code daily
- Highly analytical. You go deep, find the real problem, and make decisions from evidence rather than assumptions
- Exceptional communicator and genuinely enjoyable to work with. Clients trust you, your team likes you, and calls run smoothly because you are in them
- Confident running client calls and video sessions, keeping senior stakeholders aligned and at ease
- Anticipates client needs and builds beyond the brief, often defining what the client wants before they can
- Fluent with leading AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor and similar) and a credible point of view on how they create client value
- Self-directed and proactive on a small team with high autonomy and minimal hierarchy
Nice to Have
- Experience in professional services (legal, accounting, financial advisory, insurance, consulting)
- Background in SaaS or software product management where you owned a roadmap with real customers
- Hands-on experience using leading AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic / Claude Code, Cursor) in your own work
- Experience supporting or managing multiple client accounts at the same time
- Familiarity with how modern web applications are built and deployed
